text size in desktop mode in surface pro 2

How to increase the text size in desktop in my SP2 it is so tiny,its sharp display but i want to increase text size in desktop so help me.
today i got my SP2 128 gb model.��

Right click out on the desktop, select personalize. On the lower left, select Display. Change your text sizes there. Some changes may take a reboot before they take effect.

thank you and i have many updates waiting in windows update, im little scared to apply them as i have heard so many bad experiences about it,what should i do?

It is simple. Do as what Microsoft and well any mobile device recommends when doing updates, especially firmware upgrade:
1- Have the device plugged in.
2- Have the keyboard attached and in normal typing position, so that the firmware can be updated on the keyboard.
3- Have the device FULLY charged before starting the update.
4- Do NOT interrupt the upgrade process. The device might reboot several times, and the fan might kick-in at full speed. That is all fine. The device might also have nothing displayed on the screen, but still running, that is also fine. Just stand by. It normally takes a few minutes, and it will done. Just leave the device as is. If you interrupt it, then you'll have problems, and even brick the device (can't be repaired. The system firmware chip would need to be replaced). I have seen time and time again, people upgrading their laptop firmware and for some reason freak out, and interrupts the upgrade system, and end up sending it out for repair.

If you follow the above directions you should be fine.

Is that system firmware chip the Bios? I always thought that since the Pro is a full PC you could treat it like a desktop and start over if needed...... Just thinking if you were flashing your bios and hacked that up you would probably trash your mother board Hmmmmmm.

firmware chip is the UEFI/BIOS chip yes.
Unless the computer has a dual BIOS/UEFI chip where the second chip is designed to recover the first upon failure, the system will fail to operate if corrupted.
It most likely does not have a dual chip. Dual chip are only on high-end custom build motherboard as competition is fears.
