I had Palm Windows Lite phone a few years ago. Then I switched to Moto Droid. Finally, I have found the perfect phone. Lumia 928.I like the screen size, 4g, hotspot capability and the apps. Of course, the Verizon sales person tried to downplay it and gear me toward the iphone arena.. My son and wife have had it for two years now and I like iphone. I thought let me try for about two weeks and I would pay $35 return fee. To my surprise, the second day, I decided this was the phone I had been looking for. I have not found anything not to like except me rushing out and buying a 32gb micro SDHC which I found out can not be added to the phone.

Welcome to WPCentral! Enjoy the Lumia 928!

I do like the Lumia 928 despite the fact you can't get one in my country. :(

I wound up getting mine off of New Egg, but when I went to the Verizon store to check out the Lumia, the damn sales person also tried steering me away from any of the Windows phones. I told him that I was just looking so that I could go order 4 smart phones online, and didn't really care what his biased opinion was.

I was pleasantly surprised when I went to purchase my 928. The sales rep did not try to steer me to any other phone, and he even recommended the 928 over the iPhone because of it's camera (my daughter was also getting a new phone and was torn between the iPhone and the 928). He did try to talk me into adding another line to my plan so I didn't have to pay full price for the phone. He also brought me two sd cards and was stunned when I told him the phone didn't have an sd slot

I though I saw a picture which showed the SD card slot. I can't find that picture anymore. Perhaps too much Cabernet the night before. Anyway, I will use that microHD card in my camera to take some movies of our cat and my daughter's dog when she comes over. The cat and the dog together are a riot when they play. As for the phone, my screen has all the apps I will ever need. I don't care if iphone has over a million app and the Android system has over 700,000. As I see it, I just need one calculator app even if there are hundreds to choose from.

It's nice to actually hear someone with some sense! Welcome to the forums!

Just curious. How many apps do you have? I have about ten and I don't see myself needing more.

I just switched from the iPhone 5 to the 928 and despite the hype about the iPhone 5 being the best camera in any phone, I have to disagree. I'm an avid photographer and recently took some identical shots with both phones and then compared them in Aperture. The pictures were using stock camera, no camera apps, and the Lumia 928 has unequivocally the best camera.
