The future of the surface 2.

Hi my name is Lamont I am new to this site. I am reaching out to anyone who has any information on what may be happening to the surface rt line. I just recently received a surface 2, and I love it. The only drawback would be the lack of apps which is not too much of a drawback. I mainly surf and play games. I do use word for work enough to like having it on my tablet. Please help.
