I've looked at the padfone. What innovation? The fact that its main claim to fame is "Say goodbye to constant syncs! The PadFone provides all of the PadFone Station’s processing power and storage when the two are docked."

Basically it thinks physically connecting hardware together is better than wireless cloud syncing. Dude, that's a step backwards. Its hardware specs are nothing special. No LTE support. Android device. :P

Asus is basically saying "The only way this will work properly is if you buy two pieces of hardware - from us!"

I think I'll pass, thanks.

Since I'm starting to be accused of things I'll just leave it at this... If you can't SEE it well you better get your eyes checked.

Or you might get left behind........ :D

No. I'm talking about the future of the smartphone, the phon-let, Phablet or whatever ya want to call it. Asus PadFone and Sammy's Note/Note2. This is real innovation and Nokia had the chance to show us there version with the Surface. How hard would it have been?? There partners with MS for cryin out loud! :straight:

What's so innovative about the Note other than the fact that it's big and comes with a stylus? What other features does it offer that other smartphones lack?

What's so innovative about a phone that takes slightly better pictures? How about that dull as dish water design? My point? That camera and wireless charging won't be enough to keep Nokia afloat. We expected much more WOW!

I think we have heard enough this thread had run it's course.
