Also to note, I have been using a white background for the last 2 weeks and noticed no loss in battery life. This is not science, this just me using my phone every day and never running out of battery life when I am using it...

Heh, battery would be used more to an observable extent when you actually double tap to unlock many times in a day, stand by barely uses any.

I've only had my 1020 about a week and only ever had glance on, the battery life seems ok, I seem to be getting nearly a day out of mine but I don't feel like I've used it loads hopefully will get better.

Battery life today seems quite good with glance on currently 33% and was last on charge 9am (12 hours ago) not bad

I also have glance on, love the feature very handy, doesn't seem to use much battery, only when im playing games or taking loads of pictures do I notice a big drain
