popular iOS ****** review website had banned me because i told/demanded them to release an app for Windows phone the critisize the platform about app gap, i am sick of these other website who has apps for iOS/Android and do not have for WP and complain about App Gap verge.jpg

I heard they disabled the article comments.
A shame, the comments were so much better than the articles.

Although I guess the writer's feelings getting hurt had a factor in the move.

Don't worry, you didn't lose anything of value. :)
And give Converge a go if you're really hooked.

They don't have an app for the iPhone either anymore

Psst, download Converge 😉 it's pretty and has feeds from The Verge, TechCrunch, The Next Web, WinBeta and Windows Central!

I wonder what happened on that front.
That's a good question! I never used any specific app for The Verge. I've just used RSS feed reader apps (Nextgen for Windows Phone and Feedly for Android) to view their blog posts.

They decided to remove all of the mobile apps and just make us use the web. I don't really use the website since months ago it used to not load correctly and since before The Verge decided to go away why their apps I discovered Converge as a client and stuck with it.

Does Converge allow commenting? I can see comments, but it doesn't look like I can log into WC (or any of the other sources). I thought this was a feature before.

As far as I know, TheVerge blocked all comments, I don't know for Windows Central because I use the official app and find it redundant to have duplicate streams. TechCrunch has been giving me sync errors since idk when. WinBeta comments show up fine.
