Third row of tiles makes start screen too small on 4.5" and below

I didn't like it first, but now I'm getting used to it. It's like changing your resolution to the highest setting, I could never go back.

I love it on my L920.

When I turned it on my first reaction was... Why the hell is there a bunch of unused space on the right? Then I realized I was being dumb and that was the space for the third column. :sweaty: :amaze:

It doesn't look bad either because it's (my 920) a 332 ppi display where cheaper devices might suffer quality loss a little bit.

The great thing really is the fact that you can put more large tiles on the screen. I used to have none, now it's half of my start screen. It's just more feasible.

I'm having a tough time coming up with a layout that I like. I wonder if they'll ever let us save both layouts so can we switch between them easily...

**Question...can we not remove a contact's photo in WP? I'd like to delete the photos to let the background come through? (Cannot figure out how to delete a contact photo...)

You can't. You have to delete the contact and make a new one without photo.

Um...press and hold on a picture, yes in Edit mode, only allows selection of a new picture...there's no delete option anywhere.

920 love it... It's smaller but after awhile it's impossible to go back.

Seems many people like the 3 rows on smaller screen. I personally think they are too small even on a 5" Lumia 930 - Too hard to read things like Chronos Calendar etc. Microsoft should add the option of 2 rows for all devices (although I can't see who'd use it on a 6"). My dislike is so much I have aborted updating my L920 to an L930 until this is fixed or a bigger screened L940 comes out.
