While I am not an OS X hater by any means, I am a happy Windows 8 user. I smiled when I read this.

People will adopt Win 8 sooner or later. Its easy for people to criticize that so and so doesn't innovate enough until they actually do. Then its the people that criticize that so and so has made things too new, too hard, etc. We know how this story goes though....

My work machine is a 21.5" iMac. It has a 1 TB drive partitioned with, like, 250 MB for OS X and the rest for Windows 8. I boot to OS X once every couple of weeks to check for system updates, but other than that it's Windows 8 all the time.

Through Boot Camp, Apple makes the BEST Windows machines.

I have a couple friends who have Macs, and they also use Boot Camp to run Windows on their Macs.

I agree I hope that Windows 8 continues to grow. 2 whole percentage points in a month...wow.
