Thread not posting

I'm trying to post a thread in the Laptops/Tablets General Discussion forum but I'm unable to. I press the post button, a dialog box appears saying the thread was posted, but when I view the forum area, I don't see the thread. It is a long thread so could this be the problem?

Was it the "Need help deciding on laptop/2-in-1 - CAD" thread?
Did it advise you the thread was moderated? Because it looks like that is what happened. A moderator approved one version and deleted the other.

No it didn't advise me the thread was moderated. Thanks. Would've been nice to know at the time.
