Tiles question...

Lately, HTC has been showing some really really lovely coloured tiles...

There is black...WHOA!!!
There is orangish red...florescent green etc etc...

But here is the catch, all of them are seen only on 8S. I wanted to know, if I get the 8X, will I be having all of that...?

The black and white is actually an 'Ease of Access' function so should be available on all WP8 handsets

I would imagine there is a baseset of colours, and the OEMs get to override them (to align the blue to the blue of the HTC units).

I can't imagine any OEM would have specific colours for specific phones. Seems silly to me.

We are all going to have 20 tile colours to choose from and as stated above, the black tiles come when you select high contrast mode.

It's in the accessibility settings. it is meant to assist people with sight problems but it looks so nice that I'm sure many of use will use it.

Now, how do I get black tiles with a 80% black background. my tile text and icons would float.
