I went into the Apple store in the Mall of America and called a friend of mine while "walking around shopping" and when he asked where I was as loud as I could (without screaming) I told him "Just pacing around ****'s waiting room."

It got some looks from the staff.

What did you tell him? "Just pacing around God's waiting room"??? HUH??????? You probably got looks because it made no sense at all.

Here's an idea - how about just enjoying your 8X and letting the Apple fans enjoy their iPhones? Also, some people actually like both platforms. I just went WP8 with my Lumia 810, but I still use my iPhone 4 as an iPod touch. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.

If you've NEVER dealt with a SUPER fanatical Apple ******, consider yourself lucky. Some of the stuff they pull is outright NUTS.

Personally, I like going to the Apple store and messing with them. Nothing outrageous, just subtle things. Like going in and setting the default web page on all display units to Ubuntu. Or play the clip of Steve Jobs admitting that they outright copy everyone and looping it on other systems.

One day I was caught by another customer, and he just laughed and laughed at what I was doing and said "That's awesome.". Then he got into it also, but he went to the genius bar and really messed with their minds. He led them down a "garden path" of issues (all true) with a somewhat raised voice (just enough so people around him heard him). He really stumped the "Genius". Several people overheard everything and were waiting for an answer. The "Genius" finally had to admit that they couldn't "do" all that, which the guy replied "Huh.. Really, because my Windows machine can do all that." I couldn't contain myself and I lost it. I had to run out of the store laughing so hard my sides ached.

I've used all platforms.. I've had an android for awhile now and honestly I'm tired of removing the battery and apps constantly force closing. other than that android is ok if you want an unreliable phone .. but I have an iphone for my job and I absolutely hate it .. its the most worthless and expensive piece of technology I've ever touched since the old palm pilot days. i swear i had a palm pilot over 10 years ago that did more than the iphone.. and plus If you have a kabillion apps on your market what good are they if you cant find any of them because the app store is poorly designed and has to reload your search query after every app you back out of. Which brings me to my new L920's .. this phone is sexy it fits my hand great .. i really like the weight of it .. it gives you the feeling that its a real smartphone. as far as the apps in the market. if you look you will find an app that does what you need it to do, so I have everything i need .. so for me .. the phone is sexy.. built to last .. and extremely easy and intuitive .. i love it and i hate apple haha .. i feel sorry for the people that have been buying the same phone every year for the last 8 years .. you have officially been dooped and thoroughly ripped off.

i think its funny how they call them genius' .. when ios is really simplistic and restrictive ... my 4 year old mastered the ipad in a couple months..
