How's your battery life, other 820 owners?

Seems my phone will get warm and go into heavy drain as soon as I attempt anything with it. I've been working for the past 6hr, and with only light usage I'm down 19%. I got much better out of the 830 and 635.

I'm thinking the display is the culprit since these OLED types seem to drain so much faster... at the same time though this is a kinda old phone.

I put a lot into optimizing my background processes... think I'm wasting my time with another battery?

Some apps sometimes seem to leave a battery-draining orphan task behind when closed down. If you had that happen for several hours then that would explain it.

Any tips for handling those outside of killing things in battery saver? I find that Facebook can knock my battery out in record-breaking time.
