Screen - decent. I'm sorry, but coming from an AMOLED, this is rough at first. The colors are very bright and rich, but man do I miss those deep blacks. The Super LCD also scrolls different than the AMOLED. No, I don't mean that it responds differently, but just the looks of the scrolling seem, idk what the word is lol. You just have to see it. However, I do prefer the whites on the SLCD vs. the AMOLED. Not sure why. But, I do get kind of sad when I glance over at my girlfriend's ClearBlack AMOLED.

I went into the AT&T store a couple days ago looking for accessories for my Lumia 900. I couldn't help but go over and look at the new Titan II. I held my Lumia 900 up next to it and instantly knew why I could never get the Titan II. I know EXACTLY what you mean about the clear black AMOLED screen difference. By holding them side by side, the Titan II's black looks grey. Instantly that was a deal breaker for me. I politely docked the phone back on the wall and had no need to play with it further. It made me appreciate my Lumia 900 all the more.

24 hours in sense I made the change from the Lumia 900. So far I like the screen on this device. Its has good color and it is very clear. The camera is great I have never taken so many pictures in one day. My dogs are getting tiered of the flashes already.

I think I figured out the chin thing. I think its this way so we can set the phone down, screen down, so the camera lines wont get scratched. Its only when you set it down this way that you can rally see all the care put in to the paint color on the back and how it transitions from dark to light. It really looks cool.

The device feels good in the hand. It has a heft to it and the curved ends make it feel comfortable when typing in landscape mode. Even the buttons have a good quality fell to them.

I get a good LTE signal at my home with this device it is pulling down readings in the 15 to 20 megs/sec this is also what I was seeing with the Lumia 900.

In all after 24 I'm glad I made the change.

It is really a shame. All of the marketing hype pushing people to the Lumia. The Titan 2 really is the better device. It has been a weeks for me since I made the switch and I have not one complaint.

Its funny. When I got the Lumia, every day for the two weeks I had it I thought about the Titan 2. something in my head knew I made the wrong decision. All of the hype and the fact that the phone was free kept me from getting the Titan. When I started having all of the issues I was having with the Lumia it made the decision to "upgrade" to the Titan 2 very easy.

Loving my Titan 2.

That's funny. When I held the two together and did comparisons the Lumia's colors were SO oversaturated the colors looked so unnatural. The colors on the Titan 2 screen a far more correct than the Lumia.

Not quite dead in the water but this thread deserves a bump..

I finally bought my Titan 2 today and very glad I did. I was a bit worried the camera would not be up to it after reading reviews that went from lukewarm to downright scathing.

Some reviewers were obviously up to their apps in bias for some reason so I did my own personal reviews with a friends OXL, another friend's Lumia 900, my wife's iphone and general hands on at Telstra shops. The Lumia felt like a toy and the camera was terrible.

Friend has since got rid of it and bought a One X.

The OXL was good but was like looking at a poker machine, all bright lights and bells and whistles. The iphone 4s is great and the camera reigns supreme.

After careful consideration of factors like the coming of phone 8 I'm more than happy to have Titan 2. After only a day's use I think it's fantastic. Time will tell if the relationship grows.

Interesting though that Telstra shop staff knew very little about the T2 and it was me that had to show them how to instal sim card and educate them about Windows 8:dry.
