Congratulations!! I managed three years before my wife was taken by cancer. Finding someone else who makes me as happy as she did makes me truly blessed.

Today I take my ten year old to a tumor specialist to find out about the tumor they found after an MRI when he broke his arm two weeks ago.

Today there was a CIBSE presentation at my university. It was interesting and I took the free student membership offer.

Also, during the morning commute, I found myself in an awkward 3-way stand-off for a newly vacant seat on the pretty packed train. At least it felt like a stand-off for me I thought it was kinda funny.

Finally, saw a few lookalikes today. Saw one guy that was a splitting image of one of my old friends that I haven't seen in a while. Nearly went up to him until I realised it wasn't him. Also saw a Jake Gyllenhaal lookalike when he appeared in Jarhead. There were a few others, but can't quite remember.

Oh and also got Windows 8.1 to pretty much round of the highlights of the day.

Today is the end of the week for me.

I'm off to Wales for the weekend.
