Touch and SD Card corruption

I think my Touch corrupted my 4GB MicroSD card....it won't read it through the computer or the Touch. Anyone else experience this? I found a thread on xda-developers that indicates this might be widespread. I shake my head that Sprint puts a phone out there that corrupts memory cards!

Yes, this is a widespread problem. In fact, I would guess that every Touch is affected - it's just not everyone uses their SD card (or uses it frequently enough) to notice the problem.

I had this issue with a 1GB microSD; I could read it from another PC. I just got another one and installed it and formatted it; it's been working fine since.

Sprints new ROM seems to have fixed the problem for me.
