Touch pad issues after 4/13/16 System Firmware Update

Is anyone else finding that the touch pad periodically quits working? This has only been happening a little while and I see that there was a System Firmware Update - 4/13/2016. I think this is when I started seeing the issue. It seems to happen most frequently after touching the screen. I have to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard to get the touch pad to register again.

I see there was a System Firmware Update - 2/4/2016 also that wasn't installed on my system until 4/4/2016 so that might be the culprit too.

Mine does it very very sporatically. Like once a month type thing. Just a quick re connect the keyboard and its all good.

This happens to me too - though it didn't start with any recent firmware update. As Steve said, disconnecting/re-connecting the keyboard should resolve it. (until it happens again - yay "tablet mode"!)

I have not had this issue in a while now. (knock on wood). This is the best computing device I have used to date. The size, speed, accessories, with windows 10 its an amazing device.
