Touch screen issue

Hi, I'm just having a problem with my phone....specifically the touch screen. For the majority of tasks the phone performs flawlessly. However, when it comes to zooming in on a webpage or zooming in on here maps the response to the pinch to zoom is quite poor and can take up to 3-4 attempts for the zoom to actually work.

Can anyone think of a reason for this?

I initially thought the Lumia screen response was poor, however my girlfriend just bought a Lumia and her touch screen including zoomjng works flawlessly. Very frustrating.

Any help or advice would be great. I've done a soft reset with no success.

Open the same webpage in both phones and check?
Do a soft reset if it helps, visit customer care.
