I did not use developer preview. I did not want to muck up my warranty . I had a bad experience once earlier with one of my phones so don't fool around with my main phone anymore.

I have a white Lumia 1520 UK variant and I have just been informed of an OTA update. Im running WP8 with no developer preview. Ill update this thread when its finished and I can confirm what is actually on the phone

DO NOT GET DECEIVED.. PEOPLE, these are hard times..I repeat... DO NOT BELIEVE anyone who posts that update is available without a valid Proof of update notification with country variant, DP installed or not, etc...

No idea. Probably you should, but not sure. I also use DP on my 1520.

It seems so... I've just downgraded my 1520 to 8.0 via Nokia software recovery tool. Now updating

RM-937, CV 1028.3562.1402.0004(Hungary), in Bulgaria

My Lumia 1520 UK CV product code 059v333 running WP8 and not Developer Preview is migrating data as we speak. I have no idea whether it is Cyan or not but I am certain that I have received an OTA update.
As stated I will inform you of the end result im not here to try and deceive anyone.

Unless you use Bitlocker, the answer is no.
