Transfer files from internal storage of my Nokia 1020 to my PC Hard Drive

Hi

I have downloaded a camera app to my Nokia 1020 that saves recorded files on my phones internal storage, I can view the pictures and videos on my Nokia 1020 phone, but when I connect the phone to my PC cable, I cannot view these files from the Computer Drive/Folders viewer. These files are not in the camera roll folder or any other folder, but I can view them on the phone, please help how I can view these files and move them to my computer.

Hi. Please note that you cannot view the files through Windows Explorer. You will need this (Windows Phone sync tool) to access your files on your PC.

Daniel just to be clear I used this application

which has saved videos to the internal storage on the phone..I can view them on the phone but I cant seem to be able to transfer them onto my pc..even with the software..I am using windows 8 on my pc

Have you tried uploading them to SkyDrive/OneDrive from your phone? If you do that you'll be able to pull them off that way should the sync software not work. Failing that, then sorry but I haven't a clue. Just make sure to check your settings that you upload the photos and such at "Best" quality but the option where you do that escapes me currently.

Daniel, its simply not working, could you please install this application on Nokia 1020, record a video through it and then try to get it on a PC hard drive, or guide the steps to transfer the videos to sky drive
