Trick Groove into doing its job and adding your music to its library

I meant to get back to you for a while now. Since the last Groove music update, songs are instantly added once you download them. I just go to files, and play one song, then in about 4-6 seconds, all the newly downloaded songs are added to the library.
I think you are not understanding the way I'm using Groove. I copy songs onto the sdcard while my phone is connected to my desktop. Then I open Groove and wait for the library to build and recognize all the music on the card. Not sure what point in that process you would be considering "downloading".

My apologies. I did not elaborate clearly. Go to Files, navigate to your sd card's Music folder, and click on any of the songs that you recently added to your sd card.
It will play in Groove player with limited tag info and no album art. While the song plays for about 5 seconds, you'll notice the blue notification letting you know that Groove is adding new music.

I had the exact problem you were describing. It has been solved on my end.

I have tried exactly this as after the AU Groove didn't see all my music on my sdcard and it doesn't work. Any ideas?
