Tumblr shutting down for me?

Hey, I downloaded Tumblr and it works fine the first time I open it but the next time I decide to use it I can open it, when I click the Tumblr app it swipes to a black screen and then it goes back to my app list, the only way I can seem to use it is to delete the app and redownload it, but even then it only works once, does anyone know how to fix this?
