So guyz many of u r getting prob in enabling cortana alpha in india

SOLUTION FOR Error sry i cant speak ur language

pls change ur language nd speech to Eng UK
if u r using Eng(UK) for d first time u hv to download it
restart to see d difference
move ENG(UK) to d top of d language list

IF PROBLEM STILL PERSIST
THEN SET LANGUAGE TO ENG(INDIA) BY MOVING IT TOD TOP OF THE LANGUAGE LIST
SET SPEECH TO ENG(UK)
THEN CHANGE D REGION TO US>REBOOT
ND NOW SET IT BCK TO INDIA IT WILL START WORKING

ND PEOPLE WHO R NOT GETTING LIVE TILE FOR STORE PLS TRY RE-ENABLING WHEN U CHANGE D REGION TO US


###for some prob it is not working with ENG(US)#####

PLS CHANGE UR REGION TO UK
FIRST
THEN AGAIN CHANGE IT TO INDIA AGAIN!!

Update:
People using Cortana in uk or in india nd using eng uk as language
They all r asking that y Cortana is not chatting
So Marcus just tweeted that as soon as gdr1 release completes
They will update d Cortana servers to make it work

Language- English (US) or English (UK) - might have to be moved to the top manually
Speech- Matching the language above

Its in ALPHA. It IS MEANT TO SUCK. Your feedback and usage is meant to take it to beta and then final product.

Well, considering everything else (flight tracking, office route etc.) worked flawlessly in India in the US/UK mode, they should enable these features for India natively, soon.

Also please note that the backend servers for Cortana Alpha regions haven't been updated yet. Hence Cortana isn't chatty at all and the voice recog isn't working (at all, almost).

Marcus Ash tweeted a while ago, as soon as the preview rollout is complete, they'll jumpstart the servers. I'm paraphrasing BTW.

HTC 8X (and 8S) didn't receive the GDR1 preview update. That's why.

Hi dude just change your speech language to UK and all region and language set to India....
It works and i am using it now and remember turn on location....

same here no combination works . so m using again us version . what diffrence will it make ? if u use use version ? it shows everythg in india n near me
