Is there any word on when the Twitter app will be updated next?

With the iOS and Android apps getting a refreshed UI in recent times, the one for WP is starting to look a bit dated, especially with a bell now replacing a # for notifications etc..

Twitter on windows in general is SHOCKING!, we need an update, i mean you can't even send pictures on direct message with the app on windows phone, the app also drains battery like mad! which is so surprising, we defo need an update but are we going to get it? probably not anytime soon, maybe after the 8.1 update.
