Two types of Windows 8 tablet?

I am looking to get a W8 tablet sop that I can put my bankruptcy filing program on(hopefully they will have a win8 compatible version) so I can file bankruptcy cases and put the case files in pdf form for the creditor meetings. I could put the case files on an ipad but I would also like to prepare and file the cases as well on it.
