UK Lumia 625 with Cyan update on Three now has network error

Hi All,
I am in the UK and have a Lumia 625 updated to 8.1. Everything is fine when connected to wifi. I cannot access the internet, WP store, emails, etc using data. My provider is Three. I have followed the help on the NokiaUK site, which in the end says I have a sim issue. I have contacted three support who says I have to turn wifi off in the settings when I want to use my data. If I either switch the state of the wifi, or turn the phone off then on, I can get onto google, but from there I get a notification from three that I am not allowed to tether. I am not tethering. I suspect this is a sim problem, but would like to know if anyonelse has had this problem before calling Three for the 4th time.

I am in the UK too. Are you on a contract with three? I go for gift gaff. It's a pay as you tariff and what I get a month is 250 talk mins, unlimited net and unlimited texts. And it can tether too for twelve pounds

Hi, I am having same problem with the 8.1 developer preview. I have to go into settings, mobile & sim, then change it from automatic to 3uk by searching for network. Mine keeps resetting itself but try and see if it helps you out any

Just seen your part about tethering. I also get this after using wpcentral. There is no fault with your sim, certain apps and websites trigger the tethering warning. You have to switch phone off and back on to clear it. Don't know why this happens. 3 are no help at all for customer service, absolutely useless.

Saying that my network won't run unless I put my network on 3G as max. Even tho its 4G and a 4G chip. Then it started working.
