Unable to comment on Articles (Front Page, etc)

This might not be the relevant section, but I've tried everything in order to make a comment on the front page. Right down to restarting the browser, clearing cookies and re-logging in... I can post on the forums and whatnot, but when I choose "Log In" on the main page, it instant redirects back to the article without logging me in. If I click "Reply" to a comment, I get thrown into a redirect loop and the page is killed due to "too many redirects."

What should I do? This is occurring in both Apple Safari (latest, excluding Yosemite's Safari build) and Google Chrome for Mac.

I'm sorry you are having issues with blog comments.

I've informed tech staff of this bug. Hopefully they will get it sorted.

I just thought that the issue may be to do with how my Ban from the forums was overturned by Laura a couple of weeks back. Perhaps my front page ban was not also overturned?
