Unable to sign out of e-mail on my Nokia phone?

I bought a nokia lumia today but I signed in on my Hotmail on this phone am trying to logout but its not showing me the logout button and staying login is taking all of my data can you please assist me on how to logout please thanks.

You can't log out. Especially if it is the email used for your Microsoft Account.

Go to Settings > email + accounts > tap the Hotmail Account name > for "Download new content" tap the field and select "manually." Now it wo't access data until you tell it to.

When you want to sync... Go to Settings > email + accounts > hold down on the Hotmail Account name > tap "sync" from the pop up menu that appears.
