Hello everyone!

Just writing a little in advance about my planned absence on the boards or intermittent availability starting 1st December up until 6th January. I have been saving plenty this year and am going to finally use it to travel some parts of Europe (less backpacking more camping and climbing). I will try and log into forums every now and then and answer posts from my phone whenever I catch WiFi like a loser but won't be able to moderate posts or threads as much due to limited access to internet. Sorry to leave you chaps alone for a significant amount of time during holidays but just a heads up :)

I am wondering how the trip is going? We haven't heard from you at all so I sent you an email. I just want to make sure you are still breathing.

Maybe we should call the Ben Nevis Distillery and see if he has even left yet.

I am baaaack!

The holiday has been awesome! Ben Nevis with snow on top is E.P.I.C

This isn't even my Lumia 1020 yet! ;)

I will be regular today onwards, sorry for getting you worried guys!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and a good start to 2014

It was breath taking! Never wanted to come back..now imagine how can I be on the forums if I was busy taking pics on this beauty? Me and couple of friends went for this winter adventure. Had been on our minds since last 2 years and we made one failed attempt last winter too. But it had to be done this winter even though we felt like we could have purchased better quality thermos to make really hot tea on top ;)

If you ever come to the states, you need to go to the top of Pikes Peak. I drove to the top. it's a 19 mile road. The first 11 miles are easy. The last 8 miles are steep switchbacks with no side rails and you're above the timberline. I think my wife had her eyes closed the last 8 miles.

I am considering this as an invite to visit the States and I shouldn't turn it down of course, I'm in! :)
