Unlock Issues

Hello, I have been trying all day to unlock my aunt's Samsung Focus Flash.

I tried starting the phone with an unaccepted SIM card, and there is no prompt to unlock it.

I have entered the diagnostic menu via dialing ##634#.
I entered *#7465625# to bring up the lock menu, but nothing happens.

I have tried entering *#9908# to debrand the phone, however there is no menu option on that menu to debrand the phone.

I have typed in other diagnostic menu codes to see if they worked, and some do, while others do not.
Is the menu not appearing a defect with the phone, or am I doing it wrong?

What carrier is it locked to? What carrier's SIM are you using? Do you have an unlock code already?

It is locked to At&t, and I am using a SIM that is from Straight Talk. We do have an unlock code already.
When she bought it, it didn't come with an At&t SIM in it, is the problem that we need one?

Are you getting ATT signal w/ the ST SIM inserted? If yes then you have an ATT version of ST SIM. ST is an MVNO and uses either T-Mobile or ATT's towers. If you have an ATT version SIM then an ATT locked phone wont ask for an unlock code but work right away. To get it unlocked insert a T-Mobile SIM.
