unlocked phone in canada

So at the moment i have an HTC one its a nice phone but i'm going to get rid of it, huge camera problem (purple haze) plus id like a new change of scenery. So i was planning on buying an unlocked 925 or 928, neither of which are sold from carriers in Ontario. So my only concern is if i do get one of the phones would i be able to recieve ota updates. Im asking because as stated before neither phone is sold on my local carriers. If not ill probably have to get a 920. Thanks for the help

You'll get the updates depending when the carrier the phone was originally locked to pushes them out, unless your phone is factory unlocked, in that case you'll get them as soon as they become available.

I bought a 920 from Vodafone in the uk buy flashed it to Australian country variant, so where do i look for my black update UK or Australia???

I'm gonna say Australia since you flashed it, I could be wrong but that's my best bet.
