The upcoming Lumia 640xl is likely to have 2 GB ram and a 2.2 ghz processor (certainly not snapdragon 400) in china when it launches there....

That can't be right. The processor in question is SD 800 and they certainly won't fit it on a budget phablet like 640 XL. I reckon its a variant of 1520.

The specs were already confirmed by Windows Central earlier. It's 2 GB of RAM and a 2.2 GHz processor.

It does appear that the Snapdragon 800 is the lowest model to offer +2Ghz clock speeds. Interesting...

Well i think 940xl will be a more appropiate naming considering the fact that Snapdragon 800 2.2 Ghz and 2gb of ram are both featured in flagship devices and simply cannot be included in a budget device like 640xl. The 640xl will be announced for the lower and mid tier smartphone segemnt so if they include this feature they will be entering the premium Flagship range....and moreover MSFT announced they will be releasing flagship devices soon so lets see...!
