Installed successfully in 10 minutes without any battery loss..before update it was at 100% after update it is still on 100%..i guess I'm lucky

I've found the new things in the latest update which came yesterday!

1st : This is the fix update for low storage problem. Before yesterday's update my internal storage shows there's only 2GB free! But after this update it's showing that 4GB is available!

2nd : The app closing icon has changed a bit! Stylish. Here's the pic!

Anyone have problems connecting to hidden wifi networks that's saved after the update? I think the update broke it. I have to delete and add it again to connect each time. Pretty annoying.

My 920 finished the update without any issues that I can see. Today, I'll know more after using it. Only thing that did not work was that lock screen beta. But other than that, so far so good.

Downloaded this morning didn't have a problem with battery or spinning gears on a Nokia 1520. I really don't see a different in the update phone ran smooth before and after. So ? on the update.

I honestly can't find anything really significant this update brings..

Well I had the official cyan upgrade and then went to do and installed the new upgrade my os is 8.10.14157.200 and when scrolling it still lags like it did but other then that it really don't seem different. Well as I'm typing this the keyboard went a little better.

the update has been downloaded and installed on my 520 but again it shows that *The update was downloaded but couldn't be opened. (8007000d)*.
this has been happening since the day GDR-1 was made available and when I tried downloading the update for 4-5 times last week - it didn't even download. but today , I was a bit happy that the update has downloaded and is being installed but then , it again blasted all my hopes !!
now , what's this again ? :/

I though have Lumia 920 , but this issue has risen only on my Lumia 520 and both the devices are running on Preview For Developers version of 8.1.

Updated on my Lumia 525, found no visible changes yet.
But after installing updates 2 hours ago, few apps are yet to be reinstalled. Their status is stuck on installing. Other apps got installed successfully though.

If it is still installing after a long time, do a soft reset and you should be fine after that.

Honestly, if you have decent internet speed and a bit if time, the downgrade is simple. I can understand not wanting to lose game progress, but its not a bad idea to do a clean install anyways.

Referring to downgrading to get Cyan.

battery consumption improve for active usage, and it's HUGE at about 50% less... idling power consumption still under monitoring...

Took arround 30min
And the battery did not draind too much (phone connected to the power)

Same with my 920 and 520.

For me sites open much better on IE than before when I could barely browse such sites like complex.com. Also seems an improvement in battery life. I'm using a L1520

Downloaded, installed and migrated in about 25 minutes on my 1020 with no issues at all. No visual changes that I can see...
