Upgrade to W10M - double tap to wake? glance?

Hi,
My Lumia 640 dual sim (Germany CV) has not yet offered the W10 update - the upgrade advisor says carrier/manufacturer working on it still... today however i had a minor "update for Lumia phone" that took a few minutes to install. i'm wondering if these are the missing bits before offering the upgrade on that variant.

In any case, I am wondering - after updating to W10M, will i still be able to use double tap to wake and glance screen? have people experienced problems with those features after the upgrade?
also did you have any major problems without doing a hard reset or do you recommend it?
if i do not do the hard reset, will Lumia panorama app still work?

Yes you'll have both features. I do.

I highly recommend a hard reset.

If you don't hard reset, Panorama will probably work, but you'll be able to install it regardless.

I have the production release of W10M installed on my unlocked 640 XL, works like a dream! I did do a hard reset after the upgrade the second time I upgraded, and it worked better that before the reset. I don't display any info on the glance screen and have to tap THREE times to unlock, if I do display info, only two times.
