How is the experience for those who upgraded to the latest build of Win10 mobile directly from WP8.1 especially on phones like the Lumia 520,620,625,etc. ? i.e. without resetting their phone in anyway.
Basically just a standard upgrade without having to reinstall anything and using it as a daily driver.

Without reseting you will most likely hit battery drain and some performance loss. You may not, but most likrly will.
Even my 735 have that problems so count on hard reset on lower tier phones.

The latest build (or previous builds) didn't run great on my Lumia 625.
It would run ok when first installed, but then would become slow and laggy. A hard reset did not improve performance.
However on my Lumia 535 it runs great. No slowness and hardly any glitches. Maybe twice the phone rebooted itself and that was on the first day I installed it. A week later and I am very pleased with the performance.

So, I guess I will have to wait for a few more builds or the official release, whatever comes first. I had upgraded to wp8.1 using the PfD program and the overall experience was excellent. So I was expecting something similar for win10 mobile final build

Well, if they release one of the latest builds as official, as rumors claimed, things won't be much better.

What model phone do you have?

In my experience, trying it on the 521 (520's twin) was awful. The 635 might be a different experience though.
