USB audio

Does anyone know if you can stream audio over USB on windows 10 mobile? I want to get an external DAC and feed audio into over USB... (not mass storage mode though) just want to check if it might work before I spend money

Yes, it support USB sound devices like USB speakers and USB mics. but might depends on specific sound devices though., but mine all works fine.
I think the big thing is if it use / support generic driver or it requires a specific driver to run on windows 10 PC, if it use generic driver on W10 pc, then if should works on W10M.
And I think this post should be at W10M thread.

i have a NAD7050D working perfectly over USB on my W10, but its not a mobile version
