USB Recovery to Revert?

Ok so I would like to install W10 Preview on my desktop, however the final version is a free upgrade from 7/8.1 so I would have to revert my PC back to 8.1 in order to get RTM of W10 free, correct? If I create a USB Recovery Drive within 8.1 will that USB flash drive allow me to revert from W10 Preview back to 8.1 with my license in tact to get the free upgrade?

The answers on the first question is no you do not need to revert back.
The answer on your second question is "if you do not know that by yourself" I would not recommend to install the windows 10 preview.
