Used 920 or new 635?

I currently have a L920 but it is in pretty bad shape I am thinking about replacing it in the short term with either a used 920 or a new 635. Since I want to get the mclaren when it comes out in November I want to buy one of these and then sell it in at the end of 2014. Is there going to be enough difference in resale to be worth considering?

I would suggest a used 920. If you get the 635, albeit new, you are technically downgrading. That way when you do get a new phone later that second used 920 you can always keep as a backup

Used 920 would be my choice, I've had relatively good luck with used devices however.

How bad of a shape is it? Maybe repairs is cheaper than buying a new intermezzo phone until the McLaren is out...

The screen is badly cracked and I am having problems with the microphones for calling. I can only use it on speakerphone which is quite annoying. Im assuming the used 920 would hold its value better vs the new 635 right?
