I saw this post on the front page

Over-the-air downloads in the Windows Phone Store reportedly bumped to 100 MB | Windows Phone Central

I was really happy to see this might be coming. I have unlimited data and dont always have access to wi-fi, I should be able to download a little bigger app or a podcast when I am on the road.

Here i sit with a Podcast that is 36mb and a 76mb app that it needs wi-fi to download

Did anyone on Verizon get updated to download larger files from the store or are we getting screwed again?

I am able to download a 50mb app but, a 36mb Podcast I cant ? (yea, the button to "download podcasts over wifi" is unchecked)

Anyone know why and if there is a actual workaround or hack for this ?

A simple 30-40mb podcast should be able to be downloaded over the cell network..

I think when it meant the downloads go up to 100MB, that those are for apps only, and other things have a smaller limit.

This is one thing that annoys me about WP. On my android phone, I can download a podcast (audio/video) of about any size over the cellular network, but a podcast that is 26 mb can't be downloaded over the cell network. I too thought that the recent announcement with the update to file download size would also address podcast, but alas, it does not appear to have made a difference.

Why does it matter if it is an app or a podcast, it is data, so why should it make a difference?

Exactly, WTF, something needs to be done about this. If we get 50mb for apps, we should get 50mb for podcasts, this is a pain in the a$$
