OK, on my Lumia 925. Used Viber Chat for 20 minutes, with one person (not group chat), no voice. Screen brightness set to automatic (very dim because it's dark). Phone lost 20% of battery in 20 minutes and became so hot.

Prior to chat, Phone was loosing 3.5% per hour (light use maybe, but mostly idle) to something around 60% per hour with overheating.

As soon as I finished chatting and exited the app... the phone cooled off.

Anyone had anything similar happen to them? Ideas?

I wanted to run the Diagnostic App to send to MS, but it was too late.

Same on 520, caused by Viber's last update, it's not a "WP8.1 only" issue. I had this problem on 8.0 too. Contact Viber by email and report the problem, I did it 2 weeks ago.

Thanks. I will do so. I'd that usually somewhere in the store to contact them?
