I just rebuilt a new Windows Phone for my dad as his last one was broken. After setting up his account, he told me that he can only see his previous pictures when he is connected to the internet. I checked his SD card and and verified that none of his old pictures taken on his old phone had synched down to his phone.
I'm assuming this is by design and MS only stores new pics on their phones, while any from previous phones are only accessible once the user is connected to the internet.
If this is correct, how can I copy his older pictures (around 100) to his phone so they are always available to him? Do I just copy them to his Camera Roll folder on his SD card? Also, would these then sync back to OneDrive causing him to have duplicates' of each picture?
