Virginmedia email problems on wp8 uk

Hello ,just wondered if anyone else in the uk has had any issues with sending virginmedia emails from wp8 today?I am recieving email on my lumia 920 but when i try and reply i get a couple of boxes coming up asking for my username and password ,when i type them it doesnt recognise them.I have never had this before and my googlemail email is still working fine.Any ideas please.

I didn't see anything regarding any problems today. But a bing search showed virginmedia email issues are not uncommon. One said the only way he could check mail was to use his browser. You might see if you can log in there.

I've had nothing but issues with Virginmedia email, they seem to change the settings as often as the weather. You might need to check the server settings, as a former ntlworld customer I had to use ntlworld settings instead then virginmedia settings and now a combination of the two.

I use:

pop3.ntlworld.com - Port 995
smtp.virginmedia.com - Port 465

Encryption - SSL
