VLC for Windows Phone

They added background playback alright LOL. I played a song and the play button remained a play button. The only way to get the music to stop was to open XBox Music, start another song and then pause it. It's a beta though so I'll wait. They should leave it in beta for a while though.

Got an update pushed, to 1.0.8. Unfortunately, the app crashes immediately when starting .

Try an uninstall/reinstall.

Thanks, now it starts, most of the times at least. Sometimes it crashes on startup anyway.

Oh crap I forgot an important step. According to an article published by someone here at Windows Central the dev for VLC said to uninstall > reboot phone > reinstall. It was stated that the "reboot phone" step was crucial for some reason or another. If you're still not stratified with performance then I would suggest trying that.

The issues I am having are: lip sick, low volume, and some Pixelation , other wise it seems runs fine.
