Vpn problems

I just updated to Windows 8.1 update 1 and I have trouble getting the vpn up. I can connect but dnsleaktest and whatsmyip show the current location I'm in.

I use VPN to switch region to US and Uk to watch tv and play music through spotify and pandora.

Please help, it used to work earlier in W8.1 and 8, 7 too!

Interestingly, I have been unable to connect to my work VPN post-update. I'm getting a PPP timeout error.

Its kinda similar here. I generally use usipvpn.com for music, but for th past 2 days/after the update, after accepting the tos, it just fails to connect.

I tried.it on my friends win7,8 and 8.1 laptops
