vs Lumia 650

Given no Idol Pro4 appearance,would you buy a Lumia 650 or the Alcatel Fierce today? I am coming from a Galaxy S5. Both these phones are in my price range and appear to work on T-mobile.

Lumia 650, for sure. But if I was able to, i'd probably rather go for a used unlocked Lumia 950. You can get a pretty good deal on one if you look hard enough. Might even get below $200.

The Fierce has 2GB of RAM and it does help with responsiveness but the camera is as woeful as it gets. I haven't owned the 650 (yet) so I can't comment on the overall experience but I imagine it performs on par with the 640 due to similar specs. The Fierce rarely gives you the dreaded "resuming" screen and runs very well on .494 but that camera....

Well. I ended up with the Alcatel Fierce XL in a round about way. First I chose to stay with Android with a Note 7. T-mobile did 100% refund a result of the recall.

I miss the S-Pen. Cortana and office apps were amazing on the Note 7. The performance lags as I expected it would. It takes 2 to 5 minutes to synchronize OneNote files. I will probably stick it out with this phone until Spring 2016.
