VZW 8x to 928

I currently have an 8x that I am passing to another family member. Got a 928 coming from eBay. Am I able to self activate these device through myverizon? Or do I need to have Sims switched?

You'll have to swap sims and that should do it

All I've done to swap between 822 and several 928s is swap the sim. I've later gone into my Microsoft Account (my.windowsphone.com) and deleted the old phones from my account there, but even that isn't necessary.

Ok, So if my wife is going from an iPhone 4 to the 8x... well need a new SIM for that. Sounds like I need to visit the VZW store.

Yes, you'll need a sim for the 8x. After that though, you just swap sims between phones, you wont need to call anyone to do anything, just power on and you're good to go.
