W10M and bluetooth connection to car limitation, is anyone experiencing this?

At least it's not just me

Two different cars, and since moving to 10, then all head unit control of playlists, tracks has gone - just a very basic ability to play music and everything needs to be selected on the phone. Groove and Spotify doing exactly the same. Was all fine with 8.1.

With most of my music being streamed via a groove pass or spotify - this is a deal breaker and could see me jump ship unfortunately!

How can such as basic feature be broken like this????

In addition, when getting a text the voice reading of it takes for ever when one chooses to Read text, takes about 30 seconds to do so.

I am in build 14295 and everything is working in my car now. I could see album, artist and also my car controls work

No change on my end... the problem is still there... using "InTouch" though... what Bluetooth system are you using

so... I tested on a Honda Pilot 2016 and the problem is still there, sure I can see the album, artist but can't browse the songs, albums and artists... I was able to do that on my WPhone 8.1 though.

I also have this Problem on both, my Lumia 930 and my 640XL,
no more browsing songs over bluetooth, no fast forward, no repeat, no random, no nothing!
Even with yesterdays update (.218) which was supposed to fix BT issues.

Not sure, worked fine on 8.1 and the day I upgraded it stopped working.

In fact Groove is updated to 10 version., as all core and 3rd apps

There are differents in bluetooth profiles moving from 8/8.1 to 10

Windows Phone 8/8.1 supports:
Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP 1.4)

Windows Phone 10 supports:
Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP 1.3)

That seems strange right?
Futher: Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP 1.6) seems to be released

just installed the new preview build 14383, and just got worse... phone rings while driving but voice doesn't work, music still plays with the limitations explained on this thread, but now can't use the hands free...
