I am getting this error while updating my lumia 720 from 149 build to 166.
i have got this error for more than 3 times now.
please give me a solution to update

go back to 8.1 denim using windows phone recovery tool then update again.

anyone who can see all their albums in photo app? I have 930, and it only shows camera roll, screenshots and saved pictures It doesn't show the other albums..

Anyone having issues with the start screen never resuming? I've had my phone "loading" for the past 2 hours. I can use action center and take calls, but I cannot access the home screen whatsoever. Lumia 1520. Any suggestions?

Have the same phone and never had this issue. Suggest to do a hard reset then do a restore.

The only bug I have so far is under the extra folder... I attached it. Looks like an issue with the build itself.

The apps from the SD Card are unavailable initially whenever you reboot your phone/remove the card. It takes some time to load. In my case, it took almost a day to see them available again. But I found out a workaround--just pin the unavailable apps to the Start Screen to open the apps.

I have same problem, no notification from message.
After hard reset problem still exist.
And there is no setting for messaging in notification and action setting after hard reset.

I can't connect mobile data since the 1st build on my Lumia 625H, on 10166 sms is not working. i've tried hard reset a dozen times didn't solve the problem...

Odd. It literally has been happening since the moment I updated to the most recent build. If I hard reset am I making the journey from 8.0 all the way back to this current build?

Cortana's "cards" remains to be white even on dark mode. Kinda inconsistent. Same thing on the desktop as well. I don't know if this is an issue or they really implemented it this way.

Both my 830 and 1520 are stuck on black "loading..." or "resuming..." screen after 10166 update and usual hard reset. This happens after turning off the phone and turning it back on. Also lost glance screen on 1520.

I'm having this problem now after installing the preview 10166 build. It's the first time I am trying the preview on my lumia icon.

Hard resetting now. Praying it will solve the problem.

I can't change the background for the Start screen, no matter the mode. Already tried a soft reset and a simple restart. I won't hard reset the phone for something so trivial, though.

The data roaming settings are gone, so I can't enable it when abroad. Could someone confirm these are missing or not? Lumia 1520.

I have finally successfully installed 10166 on my Lumia 1520 after having the continuous reboot/cogs issue on this and 10149. After unsuccessful attempts (5 on 10149 and 3 on10166) with SD card removed, on a hunch I set the locale to US English rather than UK English. Afterwards, I also noticed that I hadn't set up a PIN for my lockscreen. So, one of these two things *may* help.

On my Lumia 720: All apps, except Outlook mail, crash after a few seconds. Apps do not install from Store. Phone fails to connect to PC.
I did a hard reset but that did not change te phone's behaviour.

Did u start fresh and not restore your last 8.1 backup?

Lumia 1520.

So, a few days after rolling back from 10149 to 8.1 using the Lumia Recovery Software, MS rolls out ver 10166.

As a glutton for punishment, I install. It went absolutely smooth. I had none of the stuck gears issues or anything. Everything loaded up and started to work well. A few small tweaks and my 1520 is running very smoothly.

I have notifications on the Lock Screen that will not go away for my two mail accounts, but I am still investigating that. Otherwise, this is my new daily driver.

For those having issues with installation of 1016, let me suggest:
1) Use the Lumia Software Recovery Tool and set your phone back.
2) Do not restore any backups...start clean .
3) Do not install any apps.
4) Delete all bloatware (if you have that from a carrier, like AT&T) and any apps that you do not want.
5) Wait until the phone does its normal update to Denim
6) Install Windows Insider App from the Store, go to Fast Ring and let it update.

I think these latest builds prefer to start from a clean 8.1 for the fewest problems.

"Loading" loop every I'm boot/restart my Lumia 520 and then start screen appear although I had to wait 2-5 minutes

There is a solution?
