Info: on Lumia 950 .36 and newest firmware.

For a couple of days I have been tracking battery usage, Top App that drains the battery is Edge and it is around 60% from other processes, and I don't even use it.

Same here with Lumia 930. Battery saver says that within the last 24 hours Edge has used 78% of my battery which is ridiculous. And I have used many other apps (mostly MetroTube), not just Edge.

Weird thing, I know Edge can and could be disabled from background working, but for some reason I can't do that, there is no switch for Edge.

Read that sometimes in Battery Saver settings for Microsoft Edge background switch does not appear and working in background can't be turned off, so what to do, how to disable from background.

I just hard reset and fresh installed the new firmware and then insider preview on my 950xl and found Edge option to disable background running is now gone.

The firmware is a newer version as I used Device recovery tool but now I have the same insider version as before, maybe it is because I can't activate Cortana due to the famous "error downloading" Speech.

That is a Damn... that's why I can't find a switch. Thanks
