wall street journal app

The wall street journal app works fine on the surface pro, but unlike the economist app, it doesn't download articles off line reading. Does anyone know if the app does this with apple/android or if there are any plans to allow this for the surface pro? Thanks.

I can confirm the WSJ does download articles for offline viewing on Android
