Whenever I take a road trip, I'm often reminded of how much 'Murica is an endless sea of small towns, interrupted by the eyesores/beauty spots that are big cities. Sometime Small-town USA is cute, other times it can be stifling.

Sahib, sometimes I cannot blame you for your small town, but you need to see the sea (the world).

They're celebrating July 4th here. We have a BBQ going. Was a bit pricey though. Decided to go for the fish and chips.
